Specialist furniture maker De La Espada launches new products from their collaboration with French designer Anthony Guerrée, on view now at The Future Perfect Los Angeles. A continuation of the existing product line first launched in November 2022 at The Future Perfect New York, the new designs continue to explore craft and geometry through bold, sculptural forms inspired by the designer’s recurring dream of spending a starry night in Joshua Tree National Park gazing up at the Summer Triangle asterism.

A new desk and chair reflect their inspiration through the use of a triangular motif and forms that seem to defy gravity; a dining table with a singular, iconic form references Orion, the most recognizable constellation; a sculptural side table brings us back to earth with its celebration of the natural properties of wood; and a lounge chair pays homage to two great architects with its radical formalism. Each product makes generous use of solid wood and plays with geometric principles, pattern and form. The products include artful lines and innovative craft techniques while offering comfort and function. 

As with all De La Espada furniture, the products are crafted at the De La Espada solar-powered atelier in Portugal, where a team of highly-skilled craftspeople, engineers and industrial designers work together in close dialogue. Anthony Guerrée products for De La Espada are available in a range of sustainable timber and finish options, leathers and fabrics.
