In The Future Perfect’s New York home we have entirely refreshed our West Village townhouse, curating a top-to-bottom expression of challenging, gorgeous, and reinvigorating aesthetics, along with demonstrations of how the cutting-edge of contemporary design can not only be visually and functionally flawless, but something in which we can invest our belief, joy, and certainty.

Tying together the diverse strengths and varied approaches typified by our world renowned design program into the cohesive statement, the current display features works from Ben & Aja Blanc; Chris Wolston; Bower Studios x Genesis Belanger; Ian Collings; Jane Yang-D’Haene; John Hogan; Karl Zahn; Kristin Victoria Barron; Laurids Gallée;  Leena Similu; MyungJin Kim; Rafi Ajl; SCP; Sophie Dries; Sophie Lou Jacobsen; Vikram Goyal; and many others. Finding and weaving together the common threads of groundbreaking craft and conceptual originality, the works on view present an experiential statement that is ready to present you with all your new favorites for 2025.

In the center of our parlor floor, a wildly ambitious and breathtaking new chandelier from Jane Yang-D’Haene hangs in seeming defiance of physics and reason over an impeccable table from Vikram Goyal; a presentation of new works from Kristin Victoria Barron beautifully engages with Ian Collings’ most recent explorations of stone and a coy but confident floor lamp from Ben & Aja Blanc; phenomenal mirrors from Bower Studios x Genesis Belanger utterly command the space, as Belanger’s animated gestures seemingly reach out from the pieces, pulling a reflection out from the viewer’s body, shaking hands with Chris Wolston’s Touch Me Chair, freshly back from acclaim and intrigue in Miami; ceramics from MyungJin Kim and glasswork from John Hogan spell out visual poems in a wholly original language, as Laurids Gallée’s 4 Cylinders 4 Lines casts an otherworldly light and redefines modernist elegance; Karl Zahn’s characteristic kinetic lighting breathlessly carries us up through the house, into our project space where it speaks in airy tones with works from Rafi Ajl and the elegantly symmetrical and modular Element Sofa System by Philippe Malouin for SCP; in the bedroom, we can find ceramic works from Leena Similu and Reinaldo Sanguino gently socializing in the southern facing light; the top floor features a new collection of works from Sophie Lou Jacobsen, including a glass pendant and two candelabra sconces, paired with a selection of enigmatic and compelling mirrors from Sophie Dries.

Throughout our home we’ve put together a massive new presentation of works just for you. Experience it in New York though March 14.
