Discover Radiant Contour, a presentation of new works from De La Espada and Volker Haug, now on view in our Los Angeles gallery, the Goldwyn House.

Featuring such renowned works as the Arts and Crafts Cabinet, the Albiero Sofa, and the 25 Coffee Table (among others), Radiant Contour is an investigation into the making of an object, traced through sight and augmented with the reality of use. Comparable to the layered physicality of a still life in oil or the illuminated choreography of Degas’ ballet dancers, Radiant Contour shows how the curve and silhouette of a use-object transforms it into a living artwork that is occupied by –and in a sense, “made” in collaboration with– its user. 

Combined with the Modernist lighting of Volker Haug’s Me & You collection, which positions the world around it as a museum presentation or modernist ballet, the handcrafted works of De La Espada will be sure to find an illuminated choreography as the California sun sets and early winter evening pirouettes into our space.

Radiant Contour will be on view in the Goldwyn House beginning November 19.
