Reminiscent of the visual wonder of a twisting Möbius strip, the Pleat Bench was molded from a single piece of Corian. Its namesake pleat feature – a whimsical visual flourish – was created by overlapping each end to give the bench its durable yet stylish appearance. Created in 2014 by Brodie Neill, known for pushing the boundaries of concept and production, the bench juxtaposes a sense of origami-like buoyancy with the durability offered by Corian. Thus, the bench offers almost unlimited flexibility and is able to be used both indoor and outdoor as well as being a piece of sculpture in itself.
