David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem set up their studio in Beirut in 2011. Since then they have been describing their aesthetic as ‘retro-futuristic’, a mixture of influences from different periods, languages and cultures. The use of contrasting materials and the blending of retro, contemporary and futuristic elements gives their projects a timeless identity.
