Measuring two feet tall, this sculptural vessel exemplifies MyunJin Kim's dedication to two age-old natural wonders - night birds and clay. Handcrafted by the artist using terracotta clay and hand painted with terra sigillata, a technique most notably found in pre-Colombian ceramic art, this sculpture of an owl highlights Kim's fascination with the natural world.
